30. výročí hotelu InterContinental Praha

V pondělí 13. a ve středu 15. prosince 2004 oslavil hotel InterContinental Praha 30. výročí svého otevření. Mezi hosty, pozvanými managementem hotelu, byli ředitelé, nejvyšší představitelé partnerských společností hotelu a členové diplomatického sboru. Pozvání přijali také prezident České republiky pan Václav Klaus, místopředseda vlády a ministr spravedlnosti JUDr. Pavel Němec a ministr pro místní rozvoj pan Jiří Paroubek.

Pondělní večer byl zahájen krátkými projevy současného generálního ředitele pana Leona Larkina, generálního ředitele hotelu v letech 1985 – 2004 pana Pavla Hlinky a prezidenta České republiky pana Václava Klause. Pan prezident ve svém proslovu vyzvedl špičkovou kvalitu, kterou ve svém oboru hotel InterContinental Praha představuje, a zároveň mu popřál mnoho úspěchů a spokojených hostů i v dalších letech. Hlavní součástí oslavy byla galavečeře o pěti chodech připravená pod vedením šéfkuchaře Miroslava Kubece. Svou kompozicí, sestavením a vzhledem přesvědčila všechny přítomné o vysokých profesionálních zkušenostech kuchařů a cukrářů hotelu. V průběhu večera hosty provázela hudba k poslechu i tanci. S prezidentem České republiky se generální ředitel hotelu rozloučil až v samém závěru večera.

Druhá oslava, která se uskutečnila ve středu 15. prosince, byla zahájena proslovy pana Larkina, pana Hlinky a pana Jiřího Paroubka, který taktéž popřál hotelu mnoho úspěchů do budoucna. Tato oslava se nesla ve znamení uvolněné atmosféry a k dobré náladě přispěl také DJ, kterému patřila druhá polovina večera. Hosté měli možnost ochutnat z široké nabídky gastronomických specialit, dezertů, vybraných vín a míchaných nápojů podávaných formou rautu. Oslav se zúčastnilo více než pět set hostů.

InterContinental Hotel Prague celebrated 30 years of service on Monday, 13th December and Wednesday, 15th December 2004. The hotel management invited a number of guests, including top managers and executives from partner companies and members of the diplomatic corps. The celebration was also attended by the President of the Czech Republic, Václav Klaus, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Pavel Němec and the Minister for Regional Development Jiří Paroubek.
The Monday evening opened with short speeches by the current General Manager of the Hotel Leon Larkin, the General Manager of the Hotel from 1985 to 2004 Pavel Hlinka and President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus. President Klaus mentioned in his speech the excellent quality that InterContinental Hotel Prague represents in its branch of business, and wished the Hotel success and many satisfied guests in the future. One of the highlights of the evening was a gala dinner consisting of five courses, prepared under the guidance of the acclaimed chef Miroslav Kubec. With its composition and appearance, the dinner convinced all guests of the high skills and professional experience of the hotel cooks and confectioners. An orchestra played throughout the evening, providing a pleasant atmosphere and inviting the guests to dance. President Klaus took his leave at the very end of the evening.
The second party took place on Wednesday, 15th December, opening with speeches by Leon Larkin, Pavel Hlinka and Jiří Paroubek, who also wished the Hotel success for the future. The party took place in a relaxed atmosphere with a DJ providing a good mood for the second half of the evening. The guests could taste a variety of specialties, desserts, delicate wines and mixed drinks served in the form of a standing reception.
Over 500 guests took part in the two celebrations of the 30th anniversary of InterContinental Hotel Prague.
